Seo on page

It is the way of optimizing web page to get more organic traffic and to increase the website's ranking in search engine result pages. It can be done by using some SEO technique inside the web page to improve the quality and quantity of the website. 

What is a SNIPPET? 

Snippet is the single search result in a set of search results. It contains Title, URL, and Meta description.
In mobile,  it also will contain a small mini logo which is called Favicon.

A). Title Optimization
B). Meta Description optimization
C). Content Optimization
D). Keyword Density
E). Image Optimization 


A) TITLE OPTIMIZATION

Title is the main part which describes about the page in short form. Users always prefer to get in to the page by focusing on the title. So the title should be catchy and meaningful.

In the absence of Title, H1 tag will move as the seo title for the web page. If a page contain more than one H1, The google bot will find it difficult to crawl and it will get moved to Sandbox [The Google Sandbox refers to an alleged filter that prevents new websites from ranking in Google's top results ]

Do's and Don'ts 

Title should be in correct spelling
Title should not be in full of capital letters nor in small letters
Character limit should be 55 to 60
Pixel width is 512
It should be in three words as given in Starter guide
Seo title should be unique . If a web page contains same title name, it will lead to title duplication and canibalism
Title length should not be more lengthy or more shorty.

B) META DESCRIPTION OPTIMIZATION



We can add relevant keywords related to the content in Meta description. If we forget to add meta description, then Google will take it anywhere from the body. Meta description is the capsule form of the description inside the web page.

Do's and Don'ts 

In  blog or article, the character limit is 155 words and pixel length should not exceed 1024 pixels. 
In web pages, the character limit is 155-160 words and pixel length should not exceed 1024 pixels. 
Leave space for date and adjust the character length & Pixel length in both cases.
Give unique relevant description and always try to start a description by using keyword in it.

C) CONTENT OPTIMIZATION 


Body tag

Content is the king of SEO and it is all about the topic. We can divide the whole article in different sections for the easiness of readers Body tags are  the tags using to divide into different paragraph sections. For this, sections have Header H1, H2, H3, H4 etc. H1 tags are used for the main page title. Sub heading uses H2, H3 etc. tags.

H1 is the main identity of a page. Only one H1 should give in a content. More number of H1 tags may lead to confusion for Google bots while crawling the webpage. 
H2, H3, H4 will help to give clarity to the page.

Do's and Don'ts

Content should not have plagiarism (No copied contents from other page are not allowed)
Try to make it short and meaningful.
Try to start the sentence using keyword
The content should  be readable and understandable to the readers.

We can add anchor text in the content. It is the hyperlink <a> added text and it work as a fuel or boost up for the Google bots. We a reader click a hyperlink hat added in the text, it will direct to the page. Always try to add anchor text in between a paragraph.

D) KEYWORD DENSITY

Keyword density is the number of times keyword occur in a page or content. It's important to add relevant keyword to help the search engine about what our content is. If hundred words are there in the content and two times the relevant keyword is used, then keyword density is 2%

E) IMAGE OPTIMIZATION


Image optimize

Image in a content will give a good impression on readers about the web page. The image should be related to the topic and should clearly arranged.

The three main factors in image optimization are 

 i)  ALT name or text 
ii) File name given to the image.
iii) Content on the page where image is present
 Alt  name or alt text given to the image will help the Google bots to easily identify a image. The file name given to image should be relevant. Because the google bot will take it as the image name. Another way to identify the image is the content present in the web page where image is present.
