 WHAT IS SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION (S E O)?

S E O  is a digital marketing strategy that focusing on the presence of our website in the search result in any search engines (Google). It will increase the quality and quantity in our website search result. Google Search Console is the basic tool required for SEO which will check and fix technical issues on your website. The two types of S E O techniques are On Page Optimization and Off page Optimization.

HISTORY OF SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION (S E O)

Search Engine Optimization, is a practice for increasing quality results in Google. Google played a vital role in the history of S E O. Google was a college project of it's founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin. After that, they started working on it.

At first, Google was not a website that was so familiar with the people and also it couldn't able to give the search result faster as compared to other search engines like Yahoo, Bing etc.. They used to send the search results by collecting the datas and send it later to the user through their Email.

We all know about the World Trade Center attack lead by Al-Qaeda group against America in September 11,2001. On the time, Google was failed to give the search result about that incident. It was a major fault of Google. Google team understood that it was because web pages were not crawlable.

ELEMENTS OF S E O

The elements of SEO are Crawling, Catching, Indexing. Crawling is a program in Google's Search engine. It is the process of Google bot scanning new update content on website and information send back to Google. In catching, Google took a snapshot of your website when it last visited and stored the data in case your website went down or if there are some any other issues. In Indexing, Google visited your website and has added you to its database by categorizing. Websites are controlled by web masters. Web masters can make change in website.

Who are Web Masters ?

Web master is the one who controls the web page. Google decided to  release the crawling tricks to the WebMasters But google officials said that; the website optimization practice is secret and can't reveal it to public. Google was in need of get trust from people. Therefore, A book called S E O Starter Guide (32 page PDF) was published to the web master to study the methods related to crawling a web page and increase the quality and quantity of webpages/websites.

EVOLUTION IN SEO RANKING PROCESS

👉Content Specific/ Niche Specific 

Content specific means that we will add relevant contents in our web pages; in order to get higher rank to our web page. For example; if our website is about the food recipes, then we should variety of  food recipes. 

White Hat SEO TechniqueThe S E O practice done ethically called white hat SEO Technique; that target a human audience opposed to a search engine.

Black Hat SEO TechniqueIt is a unethical Seo practice used to get higher search rankings, and breaking search engine rules. 
Example:  Keyword Stuffing (Keyword Stuffing is a  practice in which keywords stuffed in the web pages in order to get higher rank to the web page. As number of keywords increases then ranking of page also increases. But this practice lead to give quality less search results. Google always preferred to give quality results and Google doesn't wanted to encourage this practice.)

👉Link Specific

The way of getting links related to the topic in our web page  from other website to increase the ranking of our web page. When a people visit our web page and click that web page link given in our web page, it will increase the chances of ranking our page.  They started to buy and sell the web page link to increase the number of links in the web page. This also resulted to give  a quality less web page search result.

👉Quality Link Specific

The Google introduced page rank value / Trust value. It is the way of ranking the rating the page out of 10 according to the Quality link . The Google awarded this rating by checking several factors. The  web pages had to get links from high rated web pages.

 Passing the Juice

Link juice in SEO world means the value or equity passed from one site to the other when recommendation occurs. If a website receives recommendation from many sites its link juice will increase and it will rank better. But when you receive fewer recommendations and you recommend too many sites there will be a decrease in link juice and it will affect your ranking.

But often times you need to insert links for further reference and also adding hyperlinks can fuel up the crawling process. We can insert links for reference without passing the equity by adding an attribute  <a rel=''nofollow''...>

It is the term where an advertiser pays a cost to a ad publisher for every click on the ad. CPC is also called pay per click (PPC).

It is the method to earn money from Google Ad Sense. Optimizing the ad to give more chance to be seen and clicked. Ad sense is free, Google will pay you for clicks or impression on the google ads. The threshold amount is 100 dollars
Click Through Rate - CTR
